DGP of Punjab Police Giving information, the Anti-Gangster Task Force has arrested 4 shooters of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. 6 pistols and 26 live cartridges have been recovered from these accused.
He said that the arrested accused have a criminal history and many criminal cases are registered against them in Punjab and Haryana. FIR regarding this has been recorded. He added that the shooters were tasked with harming their rival gang members and that further revelations are expected during the investigation.
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੀਤਖੇੜੀ ਲਿੰਕ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਨਿਯਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੱਸੋ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਦਾਇਗੀਆਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਤਿੰਨ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਅਧੀਨ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੋ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ਾਮੀ ਪਾਈ ਗਈ।
ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਖੰਭਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਲਟਕ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਗੈਰ-ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ ਟਾਲਰੈਂਸ ਨੀਤੀ- ਮੇਅਰ ਕੁੰਦਨ ਗੋਗੀਆ
