High court notice to Punjab after 2 players say they were not issued sports gradation certificate

A national-level netball player representing Punjab, Joshi won a silver medal in the 36th National Games organised by the Indian Olympic Association in September-October 2022. But she and another player have moved the Punjab and Haryana High Court, claiming that they have been wrongly denied the sports gradation certificate despite outstanding achievements in sports.
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੀਤਖੇੜੀ ਲਿੰਕ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਨਿਯਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੱਸੋ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਦਾਇਗੀਆਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਤਿੰਨ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਅਧੀਨ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੋ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ਾਮੀ ਪਾਈ ਗਈ।
ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਖੰਭਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਲਟਕ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਗੈਰ-ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ ਟਾਲਰੈਂਸ ਨੀਤੀ- ਮੇਅਰ ਕੁੰਦਨ ਗੋਗੀਆ
