ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਾਹਤ ਵਾਲੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਗਿਰਦਾਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਪਟਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰੈਵੇਨਿਊ ਪਟਵਾਰ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹਰਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢੀਂਡਸਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਤ ਕਮਿਸਨਰ ਮਾਲ ਕੈਪ ਸਿਨਹਾ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਚ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਗਿਰਦਾਵਰੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੈ।

The Patiala Municipal Corporation has started a drive to shift stray cattle from the city’s roads to nearby cattle ponds. The corporation had identified over 500 head of stray cattle in a recent survey that would be shifted from the city in the next two months.

The Patiala Municipal Corporation is expected to begin the process to sterilise stray dogs more than a year after its previous programme ended in January 2022. Over six months after its survey, the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) has given permission for the drive.

Two labourers were killed and another was injured when the wall of a shop collapsed on them at the grain market on the Sirhind road today. The deceased have been identified as Harjit Singh (32) and Happy (25).
